Free Slurpees on July 11

If it’s July 11 or 7/11, then Slurpee® drinks must be on the house at 7-Eleven® stores. That’s because this Saturday is 7-Eleven Day, and the day the world’s first convenience retailer celebrates its birthday. This year promises to be the biggest ever, with 7-Eleven planning to give away close to 5 million free 7.11-ounce Slurpee drinks to celebrate its 82nd birthday at more than 6,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada.

Could You Spend 30 Straight Days On An Airplane

Mark Malkoff does some strange things.

He has been featured on the "Today" show, "Good Morning America", CNN, Fox News, ABC News, "The Tonight Show wtih Jay Leno", and Fox Business Network. He's also written for Radar Magazine and Steve Schirripa's talk show pilot for Fox. In July 2007, he produced and starred in a popular short video in which he visited and consumed purchases at all 171 Starbucks locations in Manhattan in one day. It can be viewed at www.171starbucks.com. Most recently Mark achieved world wide media attention by living and sleeping in an IKEA store in Paramus, New Jersey for an entire week. The videos can be seen at www.marklivesinikea.com.
Well, recently Mark spent 30 days living on an Air Tran plane. Actually it was multiple planes, but the key thing is that he lived in them (He would change planes via the tarmac to avoid entering the terminal building).

Unclutterer

I thought this was a great article that I would pass along. Click on the image above to read the article.

I think that to some degree it goes hand in hand with this post from yesterday.

And Some People Say I Have Too Much Time On My Hands...

What happens when you roll toilet paper down the aisle of an airliner and then flush? Mark Malkoff conducts an experiment to find out while he lives aboard an AirTran airplane for 30 days.

Marriage Proposal + Disneyland = ?

UPDATE: I just learned that this was staged by Disneyland as part of a 'viral promotion' they are doing on the internet.

I sure wish I was this creative...
A magical moment happens on Main Street, U.S.A. when a young man proposes to his girlfriend on a Summer evening in Disneyland Resort.
