Nephew Brett's Baptism

This past weekend Mary and I made a whirlwind trip to San Antonio to see my nephew Brett's baptism. I thought I would share some pics & video for the family that were not able to attend. The service was outdoors and I was a little far away so the quality is not great, but for those that were not there it is better than nothing.

By the way, it was about 59 degrees when Sherman and Brett got in the water (and yes, it was Sherman that baptized him)...

First the video.

And now the photos...

  1. Actually in the Didache, one of the earliest Christian writings we have, it says to baptize people in water as cold as they can stand it to remind them of the coldness of their death. Tell him he was being very biblical.
