Poor, Poor Kensington

Kensington is our English Springer Spaniel (see her normal photo on the right side of this page). Kensington leads a sheltered life here in Casa Bryant. She is waited on hand and foot and her primary activity is finding the best place to lay on her back so her humans can have easy access when scratching her belly. In other words, she is spoiled.

This week Kensington is getting challenged. We have some friends that are in the US on furlough from Hanoi, Vietnam. Sherman and Becky have two young daughters, Hannah and Allison. For some reason the girls decided that they would like to "babysit" Kensington for a couple of days. After getting her all prettied up we finally took her over there today.

Well, I am not sure how much she is enjoying herself, but I do know the kids are having fun playing with her. Becky sent the picture below a little earlier. Every time I look at it I laugh. To me it is like she is giving the camera a "someone please save me" look.

I hope you get a chuckle out of it as well.

  1. Kensington looks thoroughly disgusted with the entire thing. She has the look of a patient adult who is just putting up with the entire situation and counting the hours until it is over. If she had a wristwatch, she'd be checking it every few minutes!

  2. Kensington is finally crowned the queen and living up to her royal name! Tee-hee!

    Love ya!
