Walter Cronkite was on David Letterman shortly after the terrorists attacks of 9/11. There are two clips from his appearance that I am linking to below (one about 6 minutes the other about 7 minutes). Here are the comments from Keith at BagOfNothing.I was taken aback from an interview that Cronkite did on Letterman. It was just a few days after 9/11, and right before President Bush addressed Congress and the American people. It’s a bit weird watching it now, knowing what all transpired after that speech. Cronkite shows his wisdom, and even though he didn’t make predictions, a lot of what he says actually proves true. It’s almost a bit eerie.
